Allen is looking more likely to play vs. Central Michigan

Wyoming has been without starting quarterback Josh Allen for the past two-plus games with a shoulder injury, and there has been a concern if he will play in the Famous Idaho Potato bowl game against Central Michigan.
Allen has made progress of late and it is seeming more and more likely that he will be the starting quarterback on Dec. 22.
“I’ve been practicing and with the one’s, but It’s still not where it needs to be or where I want it to be, but things are progressively getting better,” Allen said at Monday’s media availability. “I can feel it getting better day by day. Throwing has become a lot easier and effortless.”
Not missing practice is huge for Allen’s recover and likely playing status but he added that the team, but the team has not said who will play quarterback.
“[The coaches] will need to know an answer over the next couple of days,” Allen said.
It seems likely Allen will play as he said his shoulder is around 90 percent healthy, but nothing is official at this time.
