Wyoming is back in a bowl game this week to take on the Ohio Bobcats of the MAC in the Arizona Bowl. This game will be an interesting matchup with Wyoming who is going to be without any experience at running back.
That is the biggest question but Ohio head coach Tim Albin is prepared for whatever running back the Cowboys put out there.
“They’re going to have a quality guy back there,” said Albin. “Working along with Coach Craig Bohl and this system, whoever they put out there is going to be a downhill bruiser and it will present challenges just consistently getting the person that they go with to the ground.”
There is no experienced back but look for redshirt freshman Jordon Vaughn to get the first set of reps.

Ohio is also missing a key player in quarterback Kurtis Rourke who was named the MAC offensive player of the year but he suffered a season-ending injury in November and his absence was a big reason why the Bobcats came up short in the championship game against Toledo. The big question for this bowl game is whether Ohio has been able to adjust to life without Rourke.
In his place will be CJ Harris who is completing just 32 of 64 passes for 393 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The downgrade in talent and experience very well could be an issue in this game for the Bobcats.
