A Boise State win puts them in title game contention
Boise State and San Jose State are getting some great treatment this weekend as the game is on regular over-the-air Fox. This afternoon kick is arguably the biggest game in San Jose State’s history. The Spartans not only have never defeated Boise State in 14 tries and this year could be their best chance.
A win for San Jose State can almost guarantee them a place in the Mountain West title game and secure one of its best seasons ever. As for Boise State, a win could do the same for being in the driver’s seat for a title game appearance.
A San Jose State win is not out of the question and it has nothing to do with the Spartans being a really good team in 2020. Just take a look at last year’s game was a 52-42 shootout in San Jose, so there is precedent for this game to be a close one and a game that San Jose State can actually win.
