This is a huge game for both teams. A Hawaii win has them as the first team in the FBS to become bowl-eligible and Hawaii is looking to stay on track to get to a bowl game if they can win. The Cowboys offense is the big key if they are going to upset Hawaii because so far this year it has been really bad as it is in the bottom third in basically every offensive category within the Mountain West.
This could be the week that Wyoming’s offense gets going since the Warriors defense has allowed bad offenses to score a lot of points throughout the year. So, if the Cowboys offense is going to get a jump start this game is it.
The big show for this game will be how well Hawaii’s offense can move against a really good Wyoming defense. This will be the Warriors biggest defensive challenge all year which has been averaging 42 points per game behind quarterback Cole McDonald who is second in quarterback rating in the Mountain West, is averaging four passing touchdowns per game and is throwing 8.8 yards per attempt.
