This game is a must win for Nevada if they want to be somewhat comfortable in making a bowl game. The rest of the schedule features a tough game against San Diego State and a very winnable game against San Jose State, however, UNLV could be better if QB Armani Rogers is back and Colorado State is hit or miss but has the chance to score points.
Hawaii is looking to become bowl eligible with its seven wins but the offense will need to run on all cylinders. This Wolf Pack offense has the potential to score points and move the ball and doing so against this Warriors defense could mean that Nevada might have is biggest game offensive output of the year.
The Wolf Pack has the same issue as a defense that can give up points — just see the Toledo game earlier this year — but they do have players like Malik Reed who is getting to the quarterback and could cause trouble for this Hawaii offense.
One final note on this game is to watch it. There will be a lot of points and it could be first to 40, or even 50, so make sure you take a few minutes to find this game and watch it late into the night.
