Just lean in and accept it.

There is a lot of hub bub going on about UCF claiming a national title for its undefeated season. Other schools have gotten involved and promoting prior undefeated teams as champs, such as Tulane and its 1998 undefeated season.

So, we decided to just to join the party by giving props to Boise State’s 2006 and 2009 undefeated seasons with this commemorative national championship t-shirt from BreakingT.

Those are the two years in which Boise State went undefeated and no one can take those years away from the Broncos which is why we used the tagline “Undefeated Forever.”

The 2006 team is the most infamous as it was the year they beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl and used a few gadget plays for the win like the hook and ladder, statue of liberty and a wide receiver pass into the end zone. That team finished 13-0 and ranked fifth in the AP poll.

The 2009 team went 14-0 and were Fiesta Bowl champs, again, but this time they took on Mountain West champion TCU and won 17-10, This one gets a little less pub because it was a non-BCS vs. non-BCS matchup despite the Horned Frogs being ranked third heading into the game. That win for the Broncos placed them fourth in the final AP rankings.
