Fresno State seems to be looking up at Nevada, while Colorado State seems to be looking to find themselves. The Bulldogs season has gone well, while the Rams seem to be on a constant rotation of stop-start.

The Bulldogs have gone 3-1 since beating CSU handily in their first matchup. And all of their wins have been of the come from behind variety. They trailed the entire game, until the end, against Utah State. They trailed Boise State at halftime. And they trailed by 20 points against Utah State.

While it won’t be the same situation as the previous game, the Bulldogs have a blueprint to go off of against the Rams.  Pressure causes CSU to crumble and Fresno State can pressure the ball. The Rams have a low average turnover rate, but those few turnovers have been killer.

The Rams on the other hand, just need something to go their way. CSU thought they had something figured out after two wins against Air Force and New Mexico, but then lost to Utah State and got thumped by Nevada. The Rams still need to help Nico Carvacho on the boards. As no one else had more than five rebounds against Nevada.

The Rams were in the game against Nevada, but silly mistakes cost them in the second half. In order to beat the Bulldogs, they will need to cut down on those mistakes. The motion offense for the Rams has really worked well for them at time. When they stop moving, is when the Rams get into trouble.

Fresno State looks to keep pace with Nevada and Colorado State looks to get away from their recent pace. Both teams will be fighting hard on the court this Saturday. But the Bulldogs, have just enough to pull out the win in the end.
