One of Fresno State’s biggest stars will move on.
The question of whether Fresno State Bulldogs linebacker Jeffrey Allison would stay for his senior season has been the subject of significant speculation in recent weeks but, on Friday morning, he made the move official.

Allison broke out as a sophomore in 2017, emerging as one of the most integral parts in Fresno State’s dramatic turnaround with 126 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss in 2017, two sacks and two forced fumbles.
He followed that performance by becoming the Mountain West Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year this fall, leading the Bulldogs to their first conference championship since 2013 with 132 tackles, six tackles for loss and two interceptions.
NFL Draft Wire had nothing but positive things to say about Allison ahead of the Las Vegas Bowl, and he will join Marcus McMaryion and KeeSean Johnson, among others, as key departures for Fresno State in 2019.
