How does this coaching change impact the Las Vegas Bowl.

Willie Taggart can officially be called former Oregon Ducks head football coach as he has accepted the Florida State opening on Tuesday afternoon, this was first reported by Bruce Feldman and Brett McMurphy.
This has a big impact on Boise State which faces Oregon in the Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 16 as they will be taking on a Ducks team that lost its coach 13 days before kickoff.
There is no word right now if Taggart will stay and coach in the bowl game for Oregon or go directly and get started on the Seminoles job. What would be an amazing feat if Taggart were to coach in the Las Vegas Bowl for Oregon but then 11 days later be on the sideline for Independence Bowl where Florida State takes on Southern Miss.
Won’t happen but this would be a sight to behold. Odds are extremely high that Taggart is going straight to Tallahassee and get to calling recruits.
Taggart is following in Todd Graham territory as the two not hold the only distinction to be the head coach of an FBS program in three straight years. Graham was at Tulsa, Pitt and then Arizona State, while Taggart will have traveled from South Florida to Oregon to now Florida State.
History has shown that more often than not when a head coach takes another job before the bowl game his former team does not perform all that well. That just means if you are in a place which allows legal sports betting then hurry up and take Boise State to cover as most places have the Ducks as an eight-point favorite.
