This year makes the second in a row that Boise State enters their bye week with a loss. Many fans are hoping that also like last year, the Broncos come out and rip through the majority of their Mountain West schedule. With the rotation with the West division they miss two of the top five ffenses in the conference in Hawaii and UNLV, as well as San Jose State but still has the top teams in their schedule.

After opening on the road in Wyoming, Boise State gets to close out with 3 of their last 4 games at home. Here’s a quick look at what’s on tap for the Broncos.

Week 5 At Wyoming

ESPN Matchup Predictor: 90.3% Boise St

Wyoming’s defense ranks 6th in the MW in both scoring and yards and from week 0 against New Mexico State has been their best side of the ball. Fittingly for being in the middle of the pack the Cowboy defense has given up more than 40 points to Missouri and Washington St, but held New Mexico State and FCS Wofford to a combined 21 points.

The flip side of this coin is their offense, which ranks last in the MW in both scoring and yards. Their high water mark was 29 points in the first week but has struggled since. The Cowboys were only able to muster 17 points In there last game against Wofford.
