Why Boise State Will Win
Boise State has the benefit of playing in its home confines of Taco Bell Arena against an undefeated Loyola Chicago squad. The Broncos are still expected to be without Chandler Hutchison, but BSU has looked just fine with him on the bench this season, which is an excellent sign for Leon Rice’s team. Defense will be important for Boise State on Tuesday night, as Loyola Chicago ranks in the top five nationally in three-point percentage, two-point percentage, and effective field goal percentage, according to KenPom. Boise State, however, is 9th in the country in three-point percentage allowed, so the BSU perimeter defense could make or break this year’s MWC/MVC Challenge for the Broncos.
KenPom Line
Boise State -3, o/u: 139
Score Prediction
Boise State 73, Loyola Chicago 69
