Why Boise State Will Win
The Broncos are off to its hottest 10-game start to the season since the late 1980’s, capturing nine of its first ten games. Boise State has risen to 61st in KenPom after ranking 85th in the preseason. Grand Canyon could have a tough time scoring against Boise State’s potent defense which is 28th in the nation in adjusted defensive efficiency. The GCU offense is just 253rd in the country in adjusted efficiency, having scored over 80 points just twice this season against Norfolk State (313th in defensive efficiency) and Grambling State (308th in defensive efficiency). This one could be a defensive slugfest, as both teams pride themselves on preventing opposing teams from scoring. Both teams rank in the top 15 nationally in points per game allowed. Don’t expect tonight to be any different.
