Boise State Complete Season Sweep Of Wyoming

Broncos Dominate

After struggling to score in their first matchup of the season, Wyoming scored 14 points in the first half Saturday night in Boise. While the Broncos were held to a modest 28 points, the Cowboys would be unable to overcome a terrible first half.

Wyoming started the second half on a 10-3 run to cut Boise State’s lead to 7 but the Broncos were able answer the Pokes mini-run with a 32-10 run of their own to put the game out of its misery.
RJ Williams led the way for the Broncos with 18 points and 4 steals. Wyoming was led by 19 from Hunter Thompson.

Terrible Shooting
Over the course of both games, Justin James shot a combined 3 of 31 from the field against Boise State this season. After shooting 1-14 in Laramie during the first game, James was held to 2-17 in this game.

What’s Next
Boise State is 4-3 in MW play and travel to Fort Collins to face Colorado State on Tuesday.

Wyoming falls to 1-6 in MW play and return home for a Wednesday matchup against Fresno State.
