Broncos leading rusher leaves the Mountain West title game.

Bosie State’s Alexander Mattison is leaving the game on a cart after suffering an ugly ankle injury when he was tackled from behind. He needed help leaving the field but he did muster enough strength to stand in the team huddle leading into the fourth quarter.

For the year, Mattison had over 1,000 yards, but in the Mountain West title game he rushed for 50 yards and had a touchdown.

The running backs taking his place will be a combination of Ryan Wolpin and Robert Mahone. Those two have combined for 24 yards in this game vs. Fresno State.
