Now that you guys have chosen which bet you’re going to make, let’s take a look at the bets involved in this weeks challenge.
Here’s a reminder of how this is going to work for the rest of the season. The odds post will come out each week and I’ll make what I believe to be the best bets for each game. Four of the bets will be picked and we’ll tweet out a poll for you guys to choose which bet you believe is most likely to win. I’ll pick one of the other bets and each week we’ll recap the head to head as well as how each team did at the sportsbook. In the event of a cancellation of a game that was bet on, the next highest chosen bet will be made in its place.

Once again, just short of getting all of this week’s scheduled games in. Utah State players voted to not play against Colorado State this week. The reader’s pick this week is Boise State to cover the spread against Wyoming and my pick this week is San Diego State to cover the spread against BYU.
Boise State -9.5
What’s interesting about this pick is that the line has actually dropped three points. When the poll was sent out it was Boise -12.5. I think the Broncos would’ve covered that spread too, now it’ll just be easier. Boise State will be looking to extend their conference winning streak.
The Cowboys will have their work cut out for them. They’ve beaten Boise in Laramie before and look to do it again. It’ll be a chilly game as the high is expected to be 19 at kick off with a high chance of snow. If the weather falls their way, the Cowboys could cover here.

This is probably the crazy pick of the week, but I made it. BYU showed that their is a way to beat them. Control time of possession and harass them on defense and the Cougars aren’t that strong. Coastal Carolina did it last week and the Aztecs have a chance to repeat it this week.
The question for this pick will come down to the Aztecs offense. They struggled against Colorado State and BYU is an immensely better team than the Rams. If the offense can get going, even a little bit, the Aztecs should cover this spread.
