Will the Mountain West have mulitple teams ranked?

First off, congrats to Alabama for winning an epic come from behind overtime win to defeat Georgia to win its latest national title. As everyone does as one season ends we look forward to the next even though there is a lot that can change like transfers, recruiting and players declaring for the draft.

Here we will take a stab at what the top 25 may look like heading into the season, and it is obvious who will be No. 1 heading into 2018 with #RollTide, obviously.

While we do have a slant toward the Mountain West and two teams are ranked with Boise State and Fresno State. The Broncos will get the love in most of these early rankings, as they should, and might be in the top 20 due to returning players like running back Alexander Mattison, quarterback Brett Rypien and three starting offensive lineman. Plus, past success in college football is given credit in future polls.

That is why Fresno State will likely not being ranked despite them also returning its starting quarterback in Marcus McMariyon, running backs Jordan Mims and Ronnie Rivers plus two more, three starting offensive lineman and six defenders.
