The Mountain West basketball tournament gets going in Las Vegas starting on Wednesday, as teams are vying for the automatic berth for the NCAA Tournament.
Games get going late morning in Las Vegas at 11 a.m. PT and into the late afternoon for the opening round games. These games can be streamed on the Mountain West Network then the games move to CBS Sports Network, and the finals on over-the-air CBS.
The Mountain West is expected to get anywhere from three to five teams to the NCAA Tournament when looking at BracketMatrix.com’s composite brackets.
The New Mexico Lobos earned the top seed by winning the regular season title with a 17-3 record. The Lobos only losses all came on the road, and were against San Jose State, Boise State, and San Diego State.
Per KenPom, five teams have a double-digit chance to win the Mountain West tournament, with New Mexico given the best chance at 27.5%
