Air Force defeats Baylor 30-15
The Falcons Are Your 2022 Armed Forces Bowl Winners!
Air Force just secured another 10 win season by manhandling Baylor 30-15. The weather in Fort Worth was frigid and unrelenting, much like the Falcon’s defense has been all year long. While the defense was dominant once again, the offense found their rhythm and thrived under the controls of senior quarterback Haaziq Daniels, who shined.
ESPN Commentator Dustin Fox remarked the outstanding play of Air Force, but couched it with the notion that “Baylor would probably win if they were playing in a dome.” I don’t think so Dustin, Air Force snatched the souls from Baylor’s frozen bodies. Some mop up points for Baylor helped dress up the score, in a game they were otherwise completely outplayed.
What a season, and what distinguished careers from some all-time great seniors for Air Force, who just punctuated their collegiate football careers with an explanation point. Three of the last four seasons, this team has won 10 or more games (2019 was a COVID shortened six game season), going 3-0 in Bowls. A distinguished senior class indeed.
