Incarnate Word @ Nevada (-1.5, O/U 60)
Take this line lightly, no one really has it out and it will definitely be larger when it actually shows up. But it’s what we have to work with. I don’t think anyone expected Nevada to be where they are now after Jay Norvell left. The Wolf Pack offense still needs work, but the defense will carry them to cover this week.
Pick: Nevada -1.5
Weber State @ Utah State (-7.5, O/U 58.5)
Weber State won handidly last week against Western Oregon. Utah State lost handidly to Alabama last week. Who knows what either squad is going to bring to the table. Utah State can’t seem to stop the run, so if the Wildcats can run the ball watch out. The Aggies should get back on track though.
Pick: Utah State -7.5

San Jose State @ Auburn (-23, O/U 50.5)
Man, where is the Spartans team from two years ago when they won the Mountain West? They looked lost at times against Portland State and almost lost the game as a result. Auburn has their own issues, but took care of business against FCS Mercer. The Tigers should cover once again.
Pick: Auburn -23
Hawai’i @ #4 Michigan (-52, O/U 67)
We all knew Timmy Chang had his work cut out for him in rebuilding Hawai’i after the Todd Graham debacle. Michigan had to replace a number of pieces this season and showed they had the talent to do so against Colorado State. Until Hawai’i shows us something, they aren’t covering anything.
Pick: Michigan -52

Idaho State @ San Diego State (-37, O/U 51.5)
Man, the Aztecs were poised to do something this season. They’re finally back home, they have a somewhat decent quarterback, and they have their trademark defense. But they laid an egg against Arizona. Who knows, maybe the Wildcats are back quicker than expected. But the Aztecs aren’t scoring bunches in the sportsbook until they can prove so.
Oregon state @ Fresno State (-1, O/U 61.5)
I don’t think anyone saw what Oregon State did to Boise State last week coming. This is basically a pick ’em game and I hate those. The over feels like the safe pick, but it’s going to come down to the defenses. Both showed up last week and the under may be in play as well.
