Tulsa @ Wyoming (+6.5, O/U 44)
This is an interesting pick as it opened at Tulsa -1 and is now Tulsa -6.5. The Cowboys really struggled last week against Illinois only managing two fied goals and 212 yards of offense. However, they did manage 5.9 yards per rush. But that came with the caveat of only completing five passes. Tulsa will see the film and dare Wyoming to pass.
Pick: Tulsa -6.5

Texas State @ Nevada (-1, O/U 51.5)
The Nevada offense struggled against New Mexico State last week and the quarterback position still isn’t settled. The Wolf Pack won’t be able to rely on five turnovers every week. The defenses will reign supreme this week and the under feels like the safest bet.
Pick: Under
Utah State @ #1 Alabama (-41.5, O/U 62)
Alabama is the number one team in the country to start the season. They have the talent and the game plan after Utah State let UCON run for 245 yards in week zero. Alabama tends to not fully step on the gas against lesser competition and the Aggies covering the spread is realistic unless they unexpectedly fall apart.
Pick: Utah State +41.5

Maine @ New Mexico (-10, O/U 48)
Rocky Long is in his third season back at New Mexico. His 3-3-5 defense present challenges to any team. The line is very low for an FCS vs FBS matchup and feels disrespectful against the Lobos. But they haven’t had the offense to prove worthy of a larger spread. The over being this low as well feels ripe for the taking.
Pick: Over
Boise State @ Oregon State (-2.5, O/U 56.5)
82% of the bets are on Boise State to cover the spread, 79% of the bets are on Boise to win outright, and 63% of the bets are on the under to hit according to Action Network. This feels like a trap pick no matter what you take. Boise State has to replace Khalil Shakir on offense and it seems like the defense will lead the way for the Broncos this year. Even with the lower amount of bets on the under, you should still take it.
Pick: Under

Western Kentucky @ Hawai’i (+16, O/U 67.5)
Whew! We knew new head coach Timmy Chang was going to have a rebuild ahead of him at his alma mater. But I don’t think anyone saw last weeks 63-10 shellacking at the hands of Vanderbilt coming. It remains to be seen if Vanderbilt is a good team or Hawai’i is a bad team. Until either of those come to the front taking the Hawai’i opponent to cover seems like a safe bet.
Pick: Western Kentucky -16
