Boise St. & Wyoming await tough schedules

Several games postponed due to COVID-19 protocols have officially been rescheduled.

For Wyoming – They’ll face Nevada in Reno on January 17th, a game originally scheduled for January 3rd.

Later in the week, the Cowboys host San Jose State. In the span of seven days, Wyoming plays Utah State, Boise State, Nevada, and San Jose State, a tough task for any team, but especially playing teams the caliber of Boise and Utah State.

The Broncos don’t have it easy either; they travel to Reno on the 12th, before heading to Air Force on the 18th, San Diego State on the 12th, and host Wyoming on the 25th. That’s a lot of back and forth traveling for Leon Rice’s squad over the next two weeks of January.

UNLV now has three games in five days with this adjustment by playing road games at San Diego State and at Air Force on Jan. 18 and Jan. 20. Then they face Air Force at home on Jan. 22.

It will be interesting to see how these results turn out with so many games in a tight schedule.
