Few athletes in the Mountain West have really seen it all but there’s little doubt that number includes Hawaii offensive tackle Ilm Manning, who makes his second appearance on our annual countdown of the conference’s top football talents.

2021 marked Manning’s fourth full year as a starter and he was as busy as anyone in the conference: In 13 starts at left tackle, he was marked by Pro Football Focus as being on the field for 913 snaps, the third-most of any Mountain West offensive tackle. He also earned an honorable mention from the conference media last fall after, according to Hawaii’s internal numbers, he led the team in knockdowns.

With a whopping 47 career starts under his belt at this point, Manning is undoubtedly one of the Mountain West’s longest-tenured players at any position in recent memory. There’s a good chance he’ll get back to doing what he does best more often this season, too, anchoring a pass-first offense as a staunch leader of the braddahhood.
