Wyoming down a quarterback.

Fast forward just 24 hours later and Williams has put his name in the transfer portal and is looking for a new home.
2019 3-star QB Levi Williams has entered the transfer portal after passing for 2,210 yards and 13 TD during his time with Wyoming; also rushed for 763 yards and 13 TD; starter in Bowl win yesterdayhttps://t.co/6DQxKx5z8I

Wyoming football had its quarterback questions this year as Williams and Sean Chambers battling for the starting quarterback spot this year. Each played a significant amount of time with Chambers seeing action in eight games with Williams playing also in eight games.
Williams took over the starting job heading into the San Jose State game and he is still listed as a freshman and Chambers a sophomore, so who knows if there was going to be yet another quarterback competition this offseason.
What this does is clear the path for Chambers to be the starting quarterback going forward.
Also, in transfer news. The Cowboys are also losing wide receiver Isaiah Neyor the portal. This past year he put up a solid season with 44 catches for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was a deep threat for this Cowboys team averaging 20 yards per catch.

These two losses are pretty big for Wyoming and now the Cowboys will be looking for some replacements for next year at these two positions.
