Air Force flying high

There were so many changes in our staff in making their 1-12 this week and the results of Utah State losing handily to the Wyoming Cowboys. That results took the Aggies all the way from No. 2 to the sixth spot this week.

That result for the Cowboys only move up one spot which is likely due to the top of the league being so competitive, plus Wyoming has been on a downturn after its hot start.

Air Force benefited the most by going up from the second to the sixth spot. The Falcons defeated Nevada in triple overtime so that coupled with the Utah State loss gave them a boost in the rankings this week.

The vote totals are extremely close between second and sixth and matchup any of those teams against each other and any could win on any given day. That can even be expanded from first to sixth as the league is quite deep and there might even be eight teams become bowl eligible.
