In week one of the college football season, the Mountain West went 7-5. Nevada and Utah State being the big winners with wins over Cal and Washingotn State respectively. Colorado State and UNLV are bringing up the rear with losses to South Dakota State and Eastern Washington.
North dakota @ utah State (No Line)
Utah State pulled off a big upset last week against Washington State. North Dakota is coming off a 21 point win over Idaho State. The FCS results last week should bring caution again this week. North Dakota is the #9 ranked team in the FCS. This should be a good matchup, but Utah State pulls it out in the end.

utep @ boise state (-26, O/U 55)
Boise State looked a little shaky on offense last week. UTEP got a minor scare from Bethune-Cookman before putting them away. With UTEP’s running game averaging 5.3 yards per carry and the film showing Boise’s defense struggling against UCF, look for Boise to win but UTEP to cover.

wyoming @ northern illinois (+6.5, O/U 44.5)
This is an interesting pick here. Both teams won last week, but barely. Wyoming needed a last minute touchdown to beat Montana State and Northern Illinois used a last minute two point conversion to get past Georgia Tech. Look for both schools to open up on both sides of the ball this week.

air force @ navy (+5.5, O/U 40.5)
The under is usually going to hit in games between service academies. Since 2005, the under has hit ~80% of the time and this week should be no different. Air Force looks to have the better team this year so far, but anything can happen in this game.

new mexico state @ New mexico (-18.5, O/U 54)
Raise your hand if you ever thought New Mexico would be this large of a favorite. The majoirty of the bets coming in are on New Mexico and based on what we’ve seen from New Mexico State, I’m inclined to go with them. New Mexico showed a little something against Houston Baptist, but didn’t finish with the killer instinct they needed to.
