An all-time Bulldog great.
Fresno State running back Ronnie Rivers is back on our annual list of Mountain West football’s top players for the third straight year, coming in at #4 overall to cap what has been one of the most prolific careers in Bulldogs history.
Though injuries hampered him in the later part of the 2020 season, Ronnie Rivers was as good as ever when fully healthy. He finished the year with 507 rushing yards and a 52% success rate on 100 attempts, 265 yards on 27 receptions, and nine total touchdowns, landing on the all-conference first team offense for the first time.
Rivers could have moved on from the college game, but he decided to return with a pair of important goals on his mind: Establish a new program record for career touchdowns and deliver another Mountain West championship to the Red Wave.
