Defense is great, offense needs work
Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the 2021 San Diego State football season. A few of the big questions for the Aztecs are who will play at quarterback since there are currently three options in Lucas Johnson and Jordon Brookshire and newcomer Jalen Mayden. The competition will go through fall camp before a starter is named.
The hope is that the ground game will return to form with Greg Bell fully healthy and overall if the offense can be just a bit better it will help the team overall. The defense does replace some talent in the secondary with NFL departures but it should be business as usual with the next guy stepping up.
