Tim Miles could be the guy for SJSU
I reported earlier that former Nebraska head coach and former Colorado State head coach Tim Miles is the leading candidate for San Jose State’s head men’s Basketball coach position.

If it can happen that’s a home run hire for a program that’s struggled heavily.

Miles is a well-respected head coach throughout the industry and was widely known to be a finalist at New Mexico for their head coach position, before ultimately choosing Richard Pitino.
The hire looks to be official with Jon Rothstein saying a deal should be reached within the next 24 hours.

The former Nebraska coach hasn’t been back on the sidelines since getting fired in Lincoln back in 2018 and spent the past few seasons working for TV stations covering college basketball games as an analyst.
There’s no question Miles has been itching to get back to coaching if the correct opportunity presented itself, and here’s a major opportunity to rebuild the worst team in the Mountain West.
This hire should do wonders for San Jose State and its struggling basketball program which has been a revolving door of players and coaches for years.
