The Spartans stay hot sans their best player.

Coach Jean Prioleau‘s team is finding their stride in the past three games, all of which were without their star, Richard Washington Jr.

Game one was far from perfect for both teams, ending in a 59-58 victory for the Spartans. A.J. Walker for Air Force missed the game-winner in the final seconds.

Ralph Agee had a big game for SJSU with 15 points, Trey Smith also had 15 points for the Spartans with a double-figure effort from Omari Moore.

A.J. Walker led all scorers with 21 points for AFA, with Ameka Akaya and Chris Joyce in double figures.

Game two was a big game for both teams in terms of trying to dig themselves out of the bottom two in the conference. SJSU took this one also by a score of 75-62. Ralph Agee led all scorers with 22 points in this one, with Trey Smith posting a season-high 21 points on five threes, and Sebastian Mendoza added 13 points.

For AFA, the shooting continued to be problematic in this one also, 11-37 from deep. A.J. Walker with 16 points in this one, Nikc Jackson with 14 points, and Chris Joyce & Glen McClintock add double-figure efforts.
