Receipts were kept and used.

San Jose State just had one of the most impressive seasons in the year of the pandemic in 2020 by any team. The Spartans were projected to finish fifth in the West Division but Brett Brennan turned the team around for its best season since 1939 that went 13-0. The current Spartans are 7-0 with their final game in the Arizona Bowl.

After years and years of mostly mediocre play, the team upset Boise State 34-20 in the Mountain West title game.

With the win, the social media team kept track of old tweets and put together a master 1% of the 1% of tweets. The video alludes to some tweets that said the Spartans were lucky that they didn’t play Boise State in the regular season and others about how this title game was a for sure blow out for the Broncos.

The clip of the players holding the trophy is them singing OMC’s one-hit wonder, “How Bizarre” while holding the trophy.

For good measure, they also brought in the famous Las Vegas ringside announcer Michael Buffer for the knockout call.

Also, give this social media team a big raise.
