Back to Idaho
The Nevada Wolf Pack’s hope of going to the Mountain West championship game was dashed when they fell to San Jose State on Friday night. With that game out of the mix, Nevada is now heading back to the post season and will play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
The game is a pre-Christmas bowl game and will air on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Last year, the Wolf Pack fell to the Ohio Bobcats, 31-20 in the same bowl game.
Nevada has made a total of three other appearances in this bowl game, both were losses as well. They fell to Miami (FL) and Maryland in 2006 and 2008.
This will be the Wolf Pack’s ninth game of the year.
