SDSU also could another MW team?
There has been a lot of talk about BYU looking for an opponent this weekend and the drama has been filled with possibly playing Washington. With a game against the Pac-12 not likely; enter San Diego State.
The Aztecs game against Fresno State this weekend has been canceled due to COVID-19. With San Diego State having an opening, there is the chance of moving the Dec. 12 game between the Aztecs and Cougars to be moved up a week, per CW6 San Diego.
Aztecs & BYU both confirm some talks about moving SDSU-at-BYU game up two weeks and play this week in Provo…
Would open slot for SDSU to put MWC conference game vs Fresno possibly back on schedule last week of regular season.

This would be an interesting move on both sides. For BYU, this would theoretically end their season at 10 games but also give them a few more chances to play on Dec. 5, 12, or 19.
For the Aztecs, it would open up the final weekend of the regular season on Dec. 12 and possibly matchup against a Mountain West team that has an open date if a game gets canceled. Air Force does have an open date and the two have not played each other this year, so that is an option.
The downside for this game is that San Diego State is a bit banged up with QB Lucas Johnson suffering a hamstring injury and running back RB Greg Bell left the Nevada loss with an undisclosed injury.
