Another game bites the dust
The third Mountain West game has been canceled with San Jose State vs. Fresno State being the latest and they join the Wyoming vs. Utah State and Colorado State vs. UNLV.
This game was to be one of the better matchups from the weekend as the Spartans are 4-0 and the Bulldogs are riding a three-game winning streak.
Due to COVID-19 contact tracing within the Fresno State football program, the Bulldogs are unable to participate in the scheduled game on Nov. 21 vs. San José State.
Therefore, the MW is canceling the game and declaring it a no contest. There is no plan to reschedule the game. pic.twitter.com/ATEchz6Abj

As with the other games, this one will not be made up this year. San Jose State was hoping to go to 5-0 but now that will likely have to wait.
There is no chance for a makeup game this week despite the Pac-12 allowing for its league to play non-league games. The one stipulation is for opponents to follow the same testing protocols as its league and there is no time for the Spartans to adjust that to play Colorado who is clear to play but its game vs. Arizona State was canceled earlier this week.
Up next for San Jose State will be at Boise State and Fresno State will be hosting San Diego State.
