Can Boise State upset BYU

Jeremy and Matt are back to preview the early games for Week 10 of Mountain West play. They divide up the Thursday and Friday games to preview so that the show is not well over 90 minutes.

The games they do preview are below, with the rest in a separate podcast.

Thursday:

Utah State at Nevada – The Aggies are going up against its third difficult team in a row and will be looking for some signs of life in the passing game. Whereas Nevada, is likely to put up big numbers against an Aggies defense that has struggled.

Wyoming at Colorado State – Bronze boot is on the line and Colorado State has some questions to answer at quarterback.

Friday:

San Jose State and San Diego State – The battle of the undefeated is weird to say with San Jose State as one of the teams. This game has been close the past two years and if the Spartans passing game can perform well they have a shot, but the Aztecs ground game has been on point and should get plenty of yards.

Boise State at BYU – Are the Cougars worthy of their No. 9 ranking? Well,  the voters say so which means it’s a yes but the high ranking is also due to circumstances. The Cougars are really good with Zach Wilson playing like a future NFL quarterback. Boise State is Boise State and racking up points but if multiple backups have to play again, that could be troubling for the Broncos.
