Road favorites are dominating
Jeremy and Matt are back to preview Week 9 of the Mountain West football which includes the first of the weekly Thursday and Friday games going forward. Colorado State and New Mexico take to the field for the first time after their game last week was canceled, and the Lobos had to go on the road to face San Jose State due to COVID-19 restrictions in the state of New Mexico.
One interesting note about this game is that every team that was on the road was a favorite but that changed with the Spartans now hosting the Lobos, but regardless it is still an interesting note. A few things to watch are who will Colorado State and UNLV play at quarterback, can Hawaii win for the first time since 1991 at Wyoming, and will Air Force be at full strength on the offensive line. Also, does Boise State need to steamroll its opponents to move up into the rankings.
