AAC transfer likely getting the nod.
The Colorado State depth chart had no particular quarterback and most thought it would be Patrick O’Brien who had a good year in 2019 under center. Yet, there has been a competition under new head coach Steve Addazio who wants to place his guy under center.
The latest news from Kevin Lytle of the Coloradoan is that Addazio is going with Boston College transfer Todd Centeio to start in the season-opener against Fresno State.
Temple transfer Todd Centeio expected to start at quarterback for Colorado State football team against Fresno State tonight, I’m told. Would supplant incumbent Patrick O’Brien for start of game 1.

Earlier in the week during media availability, Addazio was being coy about who would be starting at quarterback.
“I think guys have got to split reps right now and really compete because I just don’t know if we’re going to wake up tomorrow morning or Thursday morning and be dictated that someone’s out,” Addazio said.
