Hawaii football is always a tricky game to watch. In Hawaii it is on Spectrum TV and pay-per-view but in the mainland it has changed from a variety of apps and websites.
This home opener is at Fresno State, so sadly not an extremely late game until the early morning hours across most of the country.
This contest will be very competitive as Hawaii is breaking in a new offnese, sort of, but they will be passing a ton but likely not at the crazy levels as last year. Head coach Todd Graahm will utilize running back Miles Reed who probably will break 1,000 yards on the ground and have at least two wide receivers go over 1,000 as well.
The defense is the worry spot for Hawaii as Fresno State ran the ball over seven yards per carry behind a so-so offensive line and Ronnie Rivers running the ball.
Rivers is back and is the biggest weapon for the Bulldogs on offense as he obviously runs the ball well but can catch it out of the backfield.
For the Bulldogs offense to get going they need Washington transfer Jake Haener who was recently named the starter. The offensive line was the big issue last year protecting Jorge Reyna, so with that area likely being improved it should help Haener succeed this year.
One thing to expect is a lot of points in this game and it could be first to 35 who gets the victory.
