How is the league faring?
To get some context about how the league is practicing and testing, Jay Trust of KTVB reached out the all of the sports information directors and received some great info on testing.
Overall, these numbers look pretty good for the percentages of positive tests. Those probably would go up with actual football and tackling in 11 on 11 drills.
Plus, it seems that testing is becoming easier which is also good for these athletes to get tested on campus and not having to go to a local hospital which is a hurdle to get testing done.
As of the first week of Sept., 10 of 11 MW football programs had at least some players on campus participating in voluntary/non-voluntary workouts.#FresnoState was the exception.

#BoiseState recently confirmed their plan to move to on-campus testing. Previously players/coaches/staff members had to go to St. Luke’s to do this.#SDSU and #UtahState also confirmed to me that they’re now doing on-campus testing.

Finally, as of the first week of September, #AirForce, #Nevada, #NewMexico, #SDSU and #SJSU were the only teams actively participating in the 12-hours of weekly training allowed by the NCAA.
But some, like the Lobos, were still restricted to groups of 10 or less, at that time.
