Dec. 5. According to Bruce Feldman of The Athletic, Fresno State’s Jeff Tedford is going to step down as head coach due to health reasons. One name to keep an eye on is former Fresno State OC and current Indiana OC Kalen DeBoer. [The Athletic]
Jan. 3: Mike Sanford, Jr. is leaving the Aggies after one year to be the co-offensive coordinator with Minnesota. [Yahoo]
Nov. 25: Tony Sanchez is relieved of his duties. He has a $650,000 buyout, per his contract, and is not subject to an offset.[Mountain West Wire]
Nov. 25: Five early candidates for the UNLV job. One includes LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

Dec. 3: Utah DC Morgan Scalley’s name is being associated with the UNLV opening.
Dec. 4: USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell is rumored to have interviewed for the head coaching job. The real irony, of course, is that the report came out at virtually the same time new Trojans AD Mike Bohn confirmed that Clay Helton will be back for 2020.
Dec. 5: UNLV is looking at Morgan Scalley who is Utah’s defensive coordinator and also Oregon’s offensive coordinator Marcu Arroyo [Football Scoop]
Dec. 10: LSU defensive coordinator is a target for UNLV’s head coach opening.
Dec. 11: Signs are pointing that UNLV is zeroing in on its next head coach and an announcement could be soon with Oregon OC Marcus Arroyo.
Dec. 11: Multiple reports are saying Oregon OC Marcus Arroyo will be the next UNLV head coach. [MW Wire]
Jan. 1: Vanderbilt offensive line coach Cameron Norcross will join the UNLV staff. He spent four years at Vsnderbilt and previously coached at Fresno State and Nevada.
Nov. 25: New Mexico will not retain Bob Davie. His buyout is $840,000, per his contract, paid in monthly installments through 2021 and subject to offset from any future coaching job. AD Eddie Nuñez has hinted that a different buyout may be worked out. [Mountain West Wire]
Nov. 27: Arizona State defensive coordinator was asked about the New Mexico and other jobs. He said that, “when people talk, you always listen. And I think that’s the best thing to do. When you’re wanted, it’s always nice.” [AZ Central]

Dec. 5: Some big names are being mentioned for this opening. Former UCLA and Seahawks head coach Jim L. Mora, former Oregon DC Jim Leavitt, former Arizona State, Pitt and Tulsa head coach Todd Graham, Alabama OC and former Washington and USC head coach Steve Sarkisian and potentially even former Cal and current Fresno State head coach Jeff Tedford. Dec. 6: Power 5 programs do have interest for Bryan Harsin but he is declining all requests leading up to the Mountain West title game. [ESPN]
Dec. 12: Offensive coordinator Zak Hill is “very close” to take the same position with Arizona State and this could be announced by the end of the weekend. [Devils Digest]
