Week 9 College Football Rankings: Boise State, San Diego State Ranked

Taking a look at the polls.
The latest Week 9 college football polls are out and there are not a lot of surprises from the Mountain West front in the top 25. Boise State was off this week and they remained fairly stagnant by keeping at 21 in the USA TODAY coaches poll and up one spot to also 21 in the AP poll.
If we are looking for any sort of surprises it comes with San Diego State being ranked in the AP poll at No. 25 but really, the coaches should know better.
Part of the low or non-ranking of the Aztecs are low-scoring and close wins like the 20-17 victory over UNLV from over the weekend. San Diego State needs more 35-10 wins to get respect from voters.
In the coaches poll Air Force and Wyoming are garnering a couple of votes, so having four teams in consideration is showing how good the Mountain West is in 2019.
There are no Mountain West teams earning any votes in the AP poll.
