Tillman commits to UNLV
Utah transfer Donnie Tillman has committed to UNLV, according to reports that surfaced Monday morning.
Tillman started 15 games for the Utes this past season, averaging 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. The 6-7 forward is a native of Detroit.
The 2018-19 Pac-12 sixth man of the year chose the Rebels over Illinois, Rutgers, St. John’s, and others. He recently visited head coach T.J. Otzelberger and UNLV before announcing his commitment.
Because of health complications with his mother and a leave of absence taken last month, Tillman expects to be immediately eligible for the ’19-20 season and have two years of eligibility with UNLV.
