A sensational defensive talent.
Our staff has chosen Boise State STUD Curtis Weaver as our preseason selection for Mountain West football’s defensive player of the year.
Broncos fans might take exception with the statement in the tweet above because Weaver has been a star seemingly from day one. Last year, he was a disruptive force and led Boise State with 9.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss, allowing a Success Rate of just 12.5%. With an experienced front seven around him, it’s a scary thought but 2019 might just be his best season yet.
