2019 Mountain West Football Top 52 Players: #52, Wyoming CB Tyler Hall
The Wyoming Cowboys cornerback is the first player on our countdown of Mountain West football’s best players.
The Pokes secondary is in good hands.
This year’s list of Mountain West football’s 50 best players begins with Wyoming cornerback Tyler Hall, who has the difficult task of doing his part to replace a pair of past top-50 Cowboys in 2019.
You may not be as familiar with Hall as you might have been with Andrew Wingard and Marcup Epps last fall, but he’s definitely earned his spot in the countdown after racking up 39 tackles, nine passes defended and an interception at the nickelback position in 2018. For all of that, he earned an all-Mountain West honorable mention nod.
As a matter of fact, his 40.3% individual Havoc Rate trailed only Youhanna Ghaifan among all Wyoming defenders. Pro Football Focus, meanwhile, tabbed Hall as the second-highest graded cornerback in the Mountain West returning for 2019.
The Cowboys secondary, then, should remain as tough to crack as ever, with Hall set to lock down one of the cornerback spots this fall.
