After a huge blowout victory over the Nevada Wolf Pack, the New Mexico Lobos looked like they had found their stride following a disappointing start to the season in non-conference play. Instead, the Lobos continued its wildly inconsistent play and followed the monumental win with three consecutive double-digit losses.
At 0-4 in conference play, Wyoming has yet to look competitive against MW competition over a full 40 minutes. The normally high scoring squad that Wyoming coach Allen Edwards typical fields have yet to break the 60 point mark in conference play.
The Cowboys recently announced that sophomore guard Hunter Maldonado is officially shut down for the rest of the season. Maldonado was Wyoming’s second leading scorer through the eight games he participated in.
On the Lobos side, they recently announced that Karim Ezzeddine has left the program.
