Will Raymond be drafted?

When coaching moves and regime changes occur that typically leads to players transferring or in this case going to the NFL Draft. Utah State tight end Dax Raymond announced that his forgoing his final year of eligibility and is off to the NFL.

Here is his announcement from his Twitter account.

Raymond’s career wrapped up with 70 receptions, 863 yards, and three total touchdowns. His best year was his sophomore where he caught 41 receptions.

As for where Raymond will get picked it is a bit early to speculate since he was slated as a 2020 NFL Draft guy. NFL Draft Scout has him as the No. 20 tight end in the 2020 class and that means he is a fringe draft pick.
