This game is the final bowl game for the Mountain West and it is a chance for the league to get an overall winning record if Nevada can pull off the victory.
Nevada has a few issues for this game as the best wide receiver for this game McClane Mannix is out as he has decided to transfer to Texas Tech to be closer to home. The offense for the Wolf Pack does spread the ball around a lot to ease the loss of Mannix’s 50 catches.
The leading receiver for the team actually was junior Kaleb Fossum who had 69 catches and then freshman Romeo Doubs had 43 catches. Look for those two to get a few more targets on Saturday.
These two teams do match up very well as this chart put together by Jeremy Harper in his preview of this game over at College Football News.

One key player to watch on Arkansas State is its own freshman running back with Warren Wand who has 652 yards on the ground with four touchdowns and also 21 catches and another touchdown. He did have the bulk of his yards in the season finale against Texas State with 145 rushing yards and a touchdown.
There is a reason that this game is so close with the oddsmakers giving the Wolf Pack a slight two-point favorite in this game, and it has switched a bit with the Red Wolves initially being favored by a slim 1.5 points.
