Montana State and Colorado State have had two opposite starts to the 2018-19 season. MSU has started 1-2, with losses to Indiana and Utah State. While the Bobcats lone win has come against NAIA Presentation. CSU has started hot going 2-0, with wins against Arkansas Pine-Bluff and D2 Colorado Christian.
The Bobcats have struggled to begin this season. They are being outscored by 20 points per game; scoring 63 PPG and giving up 83 PPG. Montana State looks to bring the momentum from their previous win into Fort Collins.
Colorado State is led by Kendle Moore and Nico Carvacho. Moore is a 5’10” freshman guard averaging 18P PG, 3.5 REB, and 3.5 AST per game. Carvacho is a 6’11” forward averaging 16 PTS, 13 REB, and 2.5 AST per game and was named the MW Wire player of the week this past week.
