The No. 10 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is San Diego State senior guard Devin Watson.
Watson enters his final year of college basketball as the lead guard for the NCAA Tournament-hopeful Aztecs. After spending his first two seasons with San Francisco, Watson transferred to SDSU and became an immediate facet for San Diego State, helping guide the squad to March Madness after a two-year absence.
Watson started all 33 games last year, averaging 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. The 6-1 guard also knocked down 38.9 percent of his three-point attempts, and had some huge buckets down the stretch during San Diego State’s run to the NCAA Tournament.
