MWC Wire Top 25 Countdown: #11 Justinian Jessup
The No. 11 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is Boise State junior guard Justinian Jessup.
Jessup, a Colorado native, enters his junior season as one of the nation’s top perimeter shooters. Jessup knocked down 90 three-point attempts in 32 games, shooting at a 45.7 percent clip.
With Chandler Hutchison and Christian Sengfelder graduating, Jessup is the leading returning scorer for the Broncos. Look for a dramatic rise in his usage rate this season. His points per possession rate of 1.22 ranked 98th nationally according to KenPom. With 1.3 steals per game, Jessup is a quality defender as well.
