MWC Wire Top 25 Countdown: #17 Braxton Huggins
The No. 17 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is Fresno State senior guard Braxton Huggins.
Huggins, a transfer by the way of New Mexico State, spent his first three collegiate seasons with the Aggies. In ’16-17, Huggins averaged a career-best 13.7 points per game to go along with 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists a night. Huggins also shot 42.0 percent from the three-point line.
The Bakersfield native should immediately start in the Fresno State backcourt, pairing up nicely with superstar Deshon Taylor and newcomer Noah Blackwell. Look for a productive senior campaign out of the 6-4 guard.
